White House deputy press secretary Abigail Jackson and the Trump administration were called out on social media for erroneously inserting a photo of Bill Clinton, Michael Jackson and Diana Ross into the recently released Epstein files to falsely imply it showed the trio was with Epstein’s victims.
The Justice Department released a slew of documents, images and recordings related to convicted *** offender Jeffrey Epstein on Friday after Congress passed bipartisan legislation last monthforcing the release. The newly released documents included heavy redactions.

Multiple outlets, including The Associated Press and CBS, reported that dozens of the files that were previously available in the documents vanished by Saturday with no explanation from the White House, sparking accusations that President Donald Trump’s DOJ is selectively withholding information.

On Friday, Abigail Jackson posted a photo on X of the “Thriller” singer, Clinton and Ross alongside several minors whose faces appeared redacted in the image.
“Per the Epstein Files Transparency Act, DOJ was specifically instructed only to redact the faces of victims and/or minors,” she captioned the post. “Here is a picture of Bill Clinton with his arm around Michael Jackson, and redacted individuals.”
The press secretary was subsequently called out on X by progressive media company MeidasTouch Network for alluding that the trio were involved in Epstein’s *** crimes despite the photo being a publicly available fundraiser image featuring the pop star and Ross’ own children.

“How dare you. Those are Michael Jackson’s sons and Diana Ross’ son — not victims — as you are implying,” the company wrote. “This is a publicly available photo from an event they attended together.”

The White House didn’t immediately respond to HuffPost’s request for comment.
Clinton’s spokesman, Angel Ureña, accused the White House in a statement for trying to deflect the blame on Clinton after the former president appeared in multiple images in the files related to Epstein. Ureña claimed the Trump administration is “shielding themselves from what comes next, or from what they’ll try and hide forever.”

Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche denied rumors on NBC’s “Meet the Press” Sunday that a photo was removed because Trump was in it, calling the speculation “laughable.” Blanche told moderator Kristen Welker that the DOJ removed the photo due to the women who were also included in it.
“It has nothing to do with President Trump,” he added.
